Institute of Information Technology (BIIT) is
started with the aim of imparting quality education to all. Education is a very
important contributing element to both social mobility and economic
development. Technological progress in the last few decades in communication,
transportation and information has helped to eliminate national barriers and
create a global market place. Education, especially technical education is the
most important in providing skilled and well trained human resource to the
global world. The need for skills has increased dramatically in recent years
owing to radical changes in technology all over the world. With a view to
supplying skilled and well educated human resources Bangladesh Institute of Information Technology
(BIIT) was
founded in 1999 in Bogra. The
Institute has played a people attracting role in the cases of information
technology including hardware, software development, multimedia networking etc.
In 2002 BIIT is affiliated by Bangladesh Technical
Education Board for offering four years Diploma in Engineering course in
different technologies. Many students are well established in the different
sectors by completing their academic courses from this institute

Dhupchanchia Upazila Information details
Dhupchanchia Upazila (Bengali: দুপচাঁচিয়া উপজেলা) is an upazila of Bogra District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Dhupchanchia Thana was established in 1880 and was converted into an upazila in 1983.[3] It is named after its administrative center, the town of Dhupchanchia.I
Geography
Dhupchanchia Upazila has a total area of 162.44 square kilometres (62.72 sq mi).[1] It is bounded on the east by the Nagar River (across which liesKahaloo Upazila).[4] It borders Adamdighi Upazila to the south and west, Joypurhat District to the west and north, and Shibganj Upazila to the northeast.[3]
Dhupchanchia Municipality has an area of 10.21 square kilometres (3.94 sq mi).[3] It is situated about 20 km (12 mi) from the principal town of the District, Bogra.

According to the 2011 Bangladesh census, Dhupchanchia Upazila had 45,390 households and a population of 176,678, 12.7% of whom lived in urban areas.[2] 8.7% of the population was under the age of 5.[5] The literacy rate (age 7 and over) was 51.7%, compared to the national average of 51.8%.[6][7]

Hats and bazar
Hats and bazars are 15, the most noted of which are Dhap sultangonj Hat, Zianagar Hat, Talora Hat, and Saharpukur Hat. And bazars are sitted every day, the most noted bazar are tematha puraton bazar, c.o office bazar etc.

Paddy, rice, potato, biscuit, fish, milk, wood, vegetables etc.

Administration
Dhupchanchia Upazila is divided into two municipalities and six union parishads: Chamrul, Dhupchanchia, Gobindapur, Gunahar, Talora, and Zianagar. The union parishads are subdivided into 108 mauzas and 212 villages.
Dupchanchia Municipality was established in 2000. It has 9 wards and 37 mahallas. Md. Jahangir Alom (Bangladesh National Party) was elected mayor in 2008.
Talora Municipalicity was established in 2013.
Transport
Railway stations Altafnagar and Talora are on the branch line connecting Santahar and Kaunia. In July 2014 they were served by six or eight intercity and six mail trains a day.[11]

According to Banglapedia, Talora Altaf Ali High School, founded in 1918, Dupchanchia Pilot High School, founded in 1923, and Dupchanchia Model Pilot Girls' High School, founded in 1944, are notable secondary schools.[3] There are six colleges in the upazila. They include Dupchanchia J.K. Degree College, and Shahid M Monsur Ali College. Dupchanchia Mohila Degree College, founded in 1993, is the only honors level college in the upazila.
The madrasa education system includes four fazil madrasas.

Dupchanchia Model High School
Dupchanchia Model High School (Bengali: দুপচাঁচিয়া মডেল উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is one of the oldest high schools of Dupchanchia Upazila in the Bogra district ofBangladesh.
History
Dupchanchia Model High School was established in 1923.Although the school's name Dupchanchia Pilot High School 2013-2014 academic year Dupchanchia Model High School is to be renamed.The School's first Headmaster was Jitendranath Choudhoriy
Location

History of Adamdighi Upazila
Adamdighi Upazila (Bengali: আদমদিঘী উপজেলা) is an upazila of Bogra District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Adamdighi Thana was established in 1821 and was converted into an upazila in 1983.[3] It is named after its administrative center, the town of Adamdighi. The name derives from Adam's Dighi, which means Adam's Tank. Adam was a great Muslim saintor dervish, known as Baba Adam (Bengali: বাবা আদম).
Geography
Adamdighi Upazila has a total area of 168.83 square kilometres (65.19 sq mi).[1] It is the westernmost upazila of Bogra District. It borders Joypurhat District to the north, Dhupchanchia Upazila to the north and east, Kahaloo and Nandigram upazilas to the east, and Naogaon District to the south and west.
Administration
Adamdighi Upazila is divided into Santahar Municipality and six union parishads: Adamdighi Sadar, Chapapur, Chhatiangram, Kundugram, Nashratpur, and Santahar. The union parishads are subdivided into 100 mauzas and 179 villages.
Santahar Municipality is subdivided into 9 wards and 35 mahallas.[1]
Transport
Santahar railway station is a rail junction between the main line connecting Darshana and Chilahati and the branch line connecting Santahar and Kaunia. In July 2014 between 15 and 20 intercity and 7 mail trains a day departed from Santahar.
Rail station Chhatiangram is on the main line connecting Darshana and Chilahati. In July 2014 it was served by between 10 and 14 intercity and 4 mail trains a day.
Rail stations Adamdighi and Nashratpur are on the branch line connecting Santahar and Kaunia. In July 2014 they were served by six or eight intercity and six mail trains a day.[7]

There are seven colleges in the upazila. Santahar Government College is the only public one. Private colleges include Adamdighi Rahim Uddin Degree College, Nasratpur Degree College, and Shahid Ahsanul Haque Degree College.[1]
The madrasa education system includes one fazil madrasa.[8]

Rani Bhabani, zamindar, was born at Chhatiangram in 1716.
